Terms of Service
1. Acceptance and service description
These terms govern the use of the website and online booking system of By Brito Beauty Salon (80 Miracle Mile, Coral Gables, FL 33134). By checking the acceptance box during booking, you confirm that you have read and accept them.
The salon operates by appointment only. The online system lets you book hair services, manage your appointment through a personal link and, where applicable, pay a deposit to confirm it.
2. Your information
You agree to provide truthful, up-to-date information when booking. Your cell phone number is required: we use it to send you appointment notices and to reach you in case of urgency, as described in our Privacy Policy.
3. Bookings and deposits
- Some services require a deposit to confirm the booking. The amount is always shown before you pay.
- If the service requires a deposit and payment is not completed within the time indicated during booking, the reservation expires and the slot is automatically released.
- The deposit is credited toward the final price of the service on the day of your appointment.
- We reserve the right to reschedule an appointment due to force majeure; in that case we will contact you and your deposit remains fully applied to the new date.
4. Prices
The prices published on the site are informational. Many of our services are priced according to hair length and condition: for those services the site shows "from" prices and indicative tables by length, and the final price is confirmed at the salon after evaluating your hair, before the service begins. Fixed-price services are charged as published at the time of booking.
5. Cancellation and no-show policy
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at no cost up to 24 hours before the booked time, using the management link you receive when booking or by contacting us.
- Cancellation more than 24 hours in advance: the deposit is not refunded to your card; it is kept as salon credit in your name, applicable to a future appointment. To use it, contact us when booking again.
- Cancellation with 24 hours or less: the deposit is forfeited.
- No-show: the deposit is forfeited and we may apply a no-show charge of up to 50 % of the estimated service value to your card on file, as you authorized when paying the deposit.
If you arrive late we will do our best to serve you; after a reasonable time the appointment may be treated as a no-show so as not to affect the next clients.
6. Card on file
By paying the deposit with a card you authorize it to be stored securely by Stripe (we never see or store its details) and to be used solely to apply the no-show charge described in the cancellation policy.
7. Payments
Online payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal on their certified platforms. By Brito does not store card numbers. In-salon payments may be made in cash or by card. All prices and charges are in U.S. dollars (USD).
8. Communications
By booking you agree to receive transactional communications about your appointment (confirmations, reminders and change notices) by email, SMS or WhatsApp. Marketing communications are optional and governed by the Privacy Policy.
9. Conduct and right of admission
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service in the event of disrespectful or unsafe behavior toward our team or clients, and to block access to the booking system in case of fraudulent or abusive use (for example, repeated bookings without attending).
10. Limitation of liability
Our team works with professional products and top-level techniques, and will advise you honestly about what can be achieved with your hair. Even so, beauty service results depend on factors specific to each person (chemical history, hair condition, previous treatments), so we do not guarantee a specific aesthetic result. It is your responsibility to inform us of allergies, sensitivities or previous chemical treatments before the service begins.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, By Brito's total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
